The Level 3 NVQ in Advice and Guidance is a professional training programme ideal for experienced advisers working within small and medium-sized enterprises.

It supports staff who provide information, guidance, or customer-facing support in areas such as careers guidance, education, human resources, or health and social care.

For SMEs, this course helps gain confidence, skills and knowledge in how to deliver appropriate and effective information and advice, with flexible study, one‑to‑one support, and a recognised qualification on completion.

The course covers essential skills including establishing strong client communication, supporting clients to make informed decisions, and managing a personal caseload.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for funding for this course, learners must:

Be aged 19+
Live in London
Have not already achieved a L3 or above qualification.
Please note if you earn under £28,860 per annum, you are eligible for funding even if you already have a L3 or above qualification
Work within a suitable role
