Essential digital skills qualification – L1

This course covers essential topics such as using devices and managing information, creating and editing digital content, communicating online, transacting securely and staying safe and responsible in the digital world.

You will also work with Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

This is ideally for learners with some computer experience as it prepares you to achieve the nationally recognised Essential Digital Skills qualification at Level 1.

It's also a natural progression for those who have completed the EDSQ Entry Level 3 course.

Eligibility requirements

Your English level should be at Entry Level 3 or Level 1 (English/ESOL)
